Prayer is the most essential focus of our ministry. Currently our ministry focuses on prayer through weekly Wednesday night prayer meetings, monthly prophetic roundtable gatherings, and tent events we schedule in the spring and fall.
Macon is a beautiful city, with a rich historical heritage. Historical Sites such as the Indian Mounds (Ocmulgee National Monument Park) and Fort Hawkins remind us that Macon is not only an essential part of Georgia History, but played a significant role in the formation of the Southeast as a whole.
Macon has also had an incredible impact on the music scene. Songs were birthed, written and performed here that the world took notice of and continues to celebrate.
Our City Needs Prayer
2 Chronicles 7:14
…if my people who are called by my name, humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Our Land Needs to be Healed
Our city is beautiful, our heritage is impressive, yet our city is struggling to break free to pursue the future that could be, the future God is calling Macon to.
Our hope is that humility, repentance and prayer can result in healing our individual lives, our families, our neighborhoods and Macon as a whole. We are located at the heart of Georgia surrounded by amazing natural resources giving us the potential to grow economically into a regional power house.
Wednesday Night Prayer
Each Wednesday Night we meet at the Hope Center to pray and seek the Lord’s face for our city. We pray for one another. We pray for our city leaders, schools, and other things that the Lord highlights for intercession.
James 5:16 “ The prayers of the righteous person is powerful and effective.”
Prophetic Roundtable Gatherings
On the first Saturday morning of each month, we gather together with gifted prophets and intercessors to share breakfast and fellowship with ministers from around our city. We even have people join us from other cities and states.
After breakfast, we join in the sanctuary for worship and prayer. The focus of these gatherings is to enjoy the presence of God together. As we worship and pray, our participants get the opportunity to share what the Lord is saying to each person.
1 Corinthians 12 and 14 describe how we are to function together when the gifted people of God assemble. These meetings provide an opportunity for the gifts that God has placed in his servants to be displayed in a beautiful way.
Our ministry was birthed from a mission to set tents in various neighborhoods around our city. When these tents are in place, we meet each night to pray and seek God’s face for that area in our city. Most of these tents are scheduled for one week. However, there are times when the Lord leads us to linger for greater lengths of time.
The focus of these meetings in the tents is to bring the presence of the Lord through prayer, praise and intercession. We spend weeks in preparation for these outreach opportunities with prayer and fasting. We have many friends and allies that enjoy using their talents in praise and worship to support the mission for that week. We really enjoy getting outside the walls of the church building meeting the people of our city to engage with them in prayer, develop relationships, share meals and enjoy the presence of God. We have experienced families being restored. It is always a privilege to hear the people of our city cry out to God in this atmosphere.
